Top 20 in the “GoSee Awards”, top 11 in “Blickfang – Germany’s Best Photographers”. These rankings reflect the positive recognition for photographer Till Melchior from the expert juries on these two major creative platforms. What’s more, he also received a great deal of attention from designers, publishers and agencies from the campaign he shot for the Ambiente 2015 campaign. And rightly so.
Interior design, decoration, household products, gift items – the world of Ambiente is diverse and multifaceted. This made the challenge even more difficult for the backstage creative minds at the fair who had to combine all these elements in one emotion-stirring campaign. “It all went very well,” states photographer Till Melchior.“Went very well” sounds a bit modest as the campaign made it into the top 20 in the Still Life category at the GoSee Awards. Photographers and other creative artists (e.g. make-up and styling artists, art directors, illustrators etc.) can submit their work on this Internet portal where it is then viewed by industry professionals. The 20 finalists in each category are presented with Gold, Silver, Bronze and Merit awards. It’s a real trend barometer for journalists and design experts.And 11th place in the rankings on the Online Editor page of “Blickfang – Germany’s Best Photographers” is a resounding success for the Ambiente campaign. The project documents on an annual basis the current status of professional photography in Germany and offers editors, advertising clients and, of course, photography aficionados valuable insights into the best in their field.
With the still life photos for the Ambiente campaign the Mai Communications agency wanted to reflect the spectrum of themes and experiences at Ambiente with creativity and imagination. The awards received for this work show how successful they were.
